This paper investigates how the fiscal stabilization rule sustains the government debt in overlapping generations model.
If the fiscal stabilization rule is sufficiently large, there are two steady state; the one is lower government debt and dynamic inefficient, the other is higher government debt and dynamic efficient.
Strengthening the fiscal stabilization rule may expand the possibility of convergence to the steady state of the lower government debt.
