A semianalytical approach to estimate fracture closure and formation damage of vertically fractured wells in tight gas reservoir

A new multi-segment fracture for vertically fractured gas well is proposed. Two new flow regimes were identified on the type curves. The effects of non-uniform flux density and fracture conductivity were investigated. History matching applying our model is more accurate than conventional model. Interpretation results are applied to evaluate fracture closure and formation damage.
