Composite twin-box girder bridge models are tested under the effect of free vibration. The ultimate capacity of composite twin-box girder bridge models are verified experimentally. Straight and curved composite twin-box girder bridge models are investigated. The effect of external cross bracing system between the steel boxes is studied. External bracing ensured a better distribution of the stresses under ultimate loading conditions.
