Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs)-decorated filter-like surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) substrate for bacteria Raman detection. Integrated pattern recognition procedures is performed for Raman spectra classification. SERS fingerprint combination with pattern recognition techniques showed good classification of microorganism. Low cost but high recognition ability research tool for rapidly detect, quantify, and classify bacterial types at species level.
