Fe3O4 nanoparticles cause an increase in convection heat transfer in the absence of magnetic field. Fe3O4 nanoparticles cause a decrease in convection heat transfer in the presence of magnetic field. External magnetic field decreases convection heat transfer of water–Fe3O4 nanofluid.
