Beams exposed to 600 °C and repaired with NSM-CFRP did not recover their load capacity.

Lower CFRP strips’ spacing contributed to a higher recovery in mechanical properties.

Flexural stiffness for heat-damaged and repaired beams was not recovered.

Toughness and ductility for heat-damaged and repaired beams were improved.
