Aspergillus in corn kernels identified in the light of evidence from molecular biology. Tree Aspergillus species recently described were found in corn kernel samples. A. novoparasiticus, A. arachidicola and A. pseudocaelatus are co-isolated with A. flavus. Aflatoxins B and G were found in 56% and 25% of the corn kernel samples, respectively.
