Volumetric analysis elucidates a fit of hemin to G-quadruplex DNA from human telomere. Anti-parallel type of human telomere shows a better fit of hemin than (3 + 1) mixed type. Hydration around Fe ion is unique for the binding between hemin and G-quartet.
