Relict omphacite is first discovered in mafic granulite at Dinggye of China, confirming the existence of eclogite. A near isothermal decompression P-T path has been obtained by phase modelling and geothermometer. Dinggye eclogite has the metamorphic age of ~ 14 Ma representing the youngest eclogite in Himalayan orogenic belt.
