The presence of glyceline (choline chloride-glycerol) in buffer medium increases substrate affinity to bind to the protein. The various concentrations of reline (choline chloride-ethylene glycol) and glyceline might be the activity adjusters of catalase in buffered medium. The synergistic effect of hydrogen bond donor species with choline cation makes it so destructive in the high concentrations of deep eutectic solvent solutions.
