A simple method of measuring CSF HVA, 5-HIAA, MHPG, 3-OMD, and 5-MTHF is described. Compounds were simultaneously measured by HPLC with fluorescence detection. Results from 42 pediatric samples were comparable to published reference values. Results of AADC deficiency, Segawa disease, and folate receptor α defect are shown.
