文摘
Immunohistochemistry for SNARE core proteins, i.e. syntaxin 1, SNAP-25 and VAMP-2, was applied to decalcified rat molar teeth. Most, if not all, intrapulpal and intradentinal nerve fibers were immunoreactive for these three SNARE proteins. Electron microscopic analysis revealed the presence of these SNARE proteins in axonal elements. These SNARE proteins may participate in vesicle exocytosis in intrapulpal and intradentinal nerve fibers.
