Microstructural evolution and constitutive models to predict hot deformation behaviors of a nickel-based superalloy

The hot compressive deformation behavior of a nickel-based superalloy is investigated. High temperature and low strain rate facilitate the nucleation and growth of DRX grains. A Hannan-Quinn information criterion based MGGP (HQC-MGGP) model is proposed. MGGP, HQC-MGGP, ANN and Arrhenius type phenomenological models are compared. Over-fitting problem of multi-gene genetic programming (MGGP) model is overcome.
