NOR degradation performance in nZVI/H2O2 Fenton-like system was investigated under various experimental conditions.

Solution pH and temperature had a significant effect on NOR degradation.

The rate constants of NOR degradation was fitted well with pseudo-second-order kinetic equation.

The intermediates and possible pathway of NOR degradation were identified and confirmed.
