The superhydrophobic PVDF/SiO2 composite films were prepared by adding hydrophobic SiO2 nanoparticles in a special coagulation bath. The water contact angle of the composite films reached 162.3°, the sliding angle was as low as 1.5°. SiO2 nanoparticles could be firmly adhered on the film surface via a designed regeneration agent. The superhydrophobicity and self-cleaing property could be regenerated via a simple process.
