H3PW12O40/C3N4 NTs were firstly fabricated by one-step hydrothermal treatment.

The morphology, composition, and optoelectronic property were well characterized.

Target aqueous POPs were successfully degraded under visible-light irradiation.

High activity is attributed to tubular nanostructure and enhanced quantum efficiency.

High stability is attributed to strong interaction between H3PW12O40 and C3N4 NTs.
