A framework was developed to monitor inundation at regional, long-term scales. Landsat and LiDAR data were integrated to estimate subpixel water fraction (SWF). We mapped SWF over the Delmarva Peninsula, 1985–2011. High accuracies were achieved based on comparisons to historical aerial photos. Applications include analyses of interannual inundation extent and change drivers.
