A. fumigatus ∆ ugm1 mutant modulates endothelial signaling pathways upon infection. The Af ∆ ugm1 mutant modulates pathways involved in the HUVEC inflammatory response. Equally, a cell wall GAG also modulates pathways involved in inflammatory response. This work suggest that GAG can modulate the endothelial response to A. fumigatus.
