PVA/PVP hydrogels were prepared by freezing/thawing method. Adding a small quantity of PVP determines the formation of a gel with larger pores. Cryogenic treatment improves the ability to resist deformation of hydrogels. PVA hydrogels with a low content of PVP present high total deformation recovery.
