Analytical methods for the separation and quantification of enantiomers of bupropion and 4-hydroxybupropion are very limited. Information on the stereoselective disposition of threo- and erythro-dihydrobupropion is nonexistent.

A novel, accurate and precise stereoselective HPLC–MS/MS method was developed to quantify bupropion and its metabolites in human plasma samples.
