Singlet order conversion and parahydrogen-induced hyperpolarization of 13C nuclei in near-equivalent spin systems

Singlet order may be converted into 13C magnetisation by spin-lock-induced crossing. Singlet order may be converted to 13C magnetizsation by the S2hM hard-pulse sequence. Proton singlet order conversion may be quantitated on thermally polarized samples. The S2hM (singlet-to-heteronuclear-magnetisation) sequence is B1 offset independent. Our sequences work in the near-equivalence regime relevant to low-field PHIP transfer.
