Genetic correlations among nine traits based on 27 cultivars of Mentha species were calculated. Significant amount of genetic and chemical variability was observed. Correlation between oil yield and oil content was highly significant and positive. Genetic correlation can be used efficiently for the selection of promising cultivars. Variety Kosi of Mentha arvensis L. was found as most promising variety.
