High frame rate and high line density ultrasound imaging for local pulse wave velocity estimation using motion matching: A feasibility study on vessel phantoms

A high frame rate and high line density imaging method using motion matching was proposed.

Local pulse wave velocity estimation was preliminarily validated on homogeneous and inhomogeneous vessel phantoms.

Results of the proposed method were in accordance with those of the sparse imaging and plane wave imaging methods.

Precision of the proposed method in low SNR condition was higher than that in the sparse imaging.
