In-house crude enzyme extracts were directly immobilized onto TiO2 nanoparticles. Dilution of the crude enzyme can greatly improve the immobilization efficiency. Over 100% activity recovery was achieved for the immobilized crude enzyme. Crude and commercial enzymes had comparable performance after immobilization. The biocatalytic nanoparticles had good micropollutant degradation efficiency.
