Cr13Ni5Si2 (TMS) based composite coating was prepared by laser-induction hybrid cladding.
Relation among parameters–microstructure–mechanical properties–wear was studied.
Fraction of the TMS ascended after a first decrease with the rise of and T0.
Hardness (H) and elastic modulus (E) are proportional to the fraction of the TMS.
The higher the H/E of the coating, the better the wear resistance.
