Induction heating was applied for brazing of revolving heat pipe grinding wheel. A uniform temperature distribution can be obtained with the current of 17 A and heating distance of 2.5 mm. TiB and TiB2 formed at the CBN/Ag-Cu-Ti brazing interface. Needlike compounds formed on the CBN grains during induction brazing. Abrasion wear was the main failure mode for the induction brazed revolving heat pipe grinding wheel.
