Effect of modifying the information and training structure on the occupational safety of health care workers in exposure to blood and body fluids: A quasi-experimental study
The number of needlestick cases was more than other exposures. After implementation of a Web-based information system in hospital A, the number of exposures decreased in comparison with hospital B (control group). Innovations made in information and communication technology can be used as an effective tool for education and health care worker safety.
