The pressure spectrum acted on the blade surface induced by ingested turbulence is computed based on strip theory. The elastic vibration characteristics of the rim driven thruster is obtained based on random vibration analysis. The unsteady thrust transmission characteristics of rim driven thruster is compared with that of traditional shaft driven propeller.
