Coriloxine derivatives 4 and 7 inhibited the ATP synthesis from water to MV. Semisynthetic derivatives 4 and 7 behave as a Hill reaction inhibitor. Coriloxine derivative 4 enhanced the Mg2 + ATPase activity acts as an uncoupler agent. Semisynthetic derivative 7 interacts at the water splitting enzyme complex (OEC). All compounds tested satisfy both Tice's and Lipinski's rules.
