Studying the vibration effect on convection excitation in fluid and porous layers. Monitoring the porosity variations with depth for packed glass spheres. Changes in the porosity affect the long-wave perturbations covering both layers. Short-wave perturbations in the fluid layer are stabilized by vibrations strongly. Finding a smooth transition for these perturbations if porosity drops with depth.
