Mesoporous SBA-15 materials functionalized with Ti and Zr are developed. PES membranes embedded with SBA-15 are fabricated and characterized. Incorporation of functionalized SBA-15 does not change structure of PES membrane. The PES membrane embedded with SBA-15 enhances antifouling properties. Functionalized SBA-15 can be an excellent inorganic filler with PES membrane.
