Thirty eight indels were identified in the rrn operon of C. concisus genome. Five indels in the 23S rDNA region were significantly associated with genomospecies. C. concisus can be classified into two genomospecies based on these indels. The 23S rDNA region is more applicable and reliable for C. concisus typing.
