Two studies of 4–8 year-olds’ and adults’ moral judgments were replicated.

Story agents’ intentions and outcomes were manipulated.

Similar findings of primarily outcome-based moral judgment were obtained.

A judgment question was changed so that it asked whether the agent was good or bad.

The same participants now made primarily intention-based judgments.
