Optical properties of single-walled carbon nanotubes highly separated in semiconducting and metallic tubes functionalized with poly(vinylidene fluoride)
PVDF membrane is characterized by α crystalline phase. PVDF β crystalline phase is observed in the presence of semiconducting SWNTs. PVDF γ crystalline phase is increased in the presence M-SWNTs and S-SWNTs. The PVDF/SWNTs composites result by donor-acceptor interaction of two constituents. Induction-interaction forces between dipoles are reported for PVDF/M-SWNTs.
