Results of SIL-Mx systems (M = Cu, Ag or Au, x = 1 or 4) are reported. The presence of one metal increases the Raman signal of SIL. A small concentration of metals has a big consequence in the Raman spectra. Electron donor acceptor capacity of SIL-Mx is enhanced compared to SIL. SIL-Mx could be important free radical scavengers.
