Thermal-induced structural transition of CDOM was explored. EEM-PARAFAC and 2DCOS analysis jointly characterized the transition process. Temperature-dependent hydrophobic interaction of CDOM with PAH was demonstrated. The integrated approach can help to elucidate the environmental behaviours of CDOM.
