Internal variability strongly inhibits 27-day signal detection in temperature. Ensemble modeling allows for identification of 27-day solar signal in temperature. Clear connection between solar rotation and stratospheric temperature is shown. We suggest lower 27-day temperature variability compared to previous estimates.
