The exergy loss and the entransy loss of the generalized irreversible Carnot engine system (GICES) are investigated. The potential entransy loss (ΔGloss,pot,C) and the entransy degeneration (ΔGg) are proposed. The entransy loss equilibrium and the synthetic entransy loss equation are derived. The characteristics of entransy loss, exergy loss and entransy degeneration for the GICES are investigated.
