Improvement of springback prediction accuracy using material model considering elastoplastic anisotropy and Bauschinger effect

The material behaviors of two types of high strength steels were evaluated by material tests.

A material model considering four material behaviors, the Bauschinger effect, average Young’s modulus, elastic anisotropy and plastic anisotropy, was developed.

The influence of each material behavior on springback analysis was clarified.

A material model which considers the dominant material behaviors can predict the amount of springback accurately.
