Isolation of extracellular vesicle from blood plasma using electrophoretic migration through porous membrane

This electrophoretic migration based extracellular vesicle (EV) isolation system achieved high size selective isolation in blood plasma as ultracentrifuge do.

EV isolated with this system has 8 times more EV amount than ultracentrifuge according to RNA level.

As different to the precipitation method, isolated EV with this system did not have chemical artifact hindering post-processes: RT-PCR, western-blot and ELISA.

Only half of residual protein remain with this system compared to the precipitation method.
