Contrasting geochemical signatures between Upper Triassic Mo-hosting and barren granitoids in the central segment of the South Qinling orogenic belt, central China: Implications for Mo exploration
Mo-bearing intrusions and Mo-barren intrusions formed during 215–200 Ma. Five molybdenite samples yield a 187Re–187Os isochron age of 198.1 ± 7.2 Ma. Highly fractionated I-type granite should be considered highly prospective for mineral exploration.
