The reaction of η⁵-Cp*TiCl₃ and LiNH^tBu in hexanes yields a novel [η⁵-Cp*Ti(=N^tBu)(NH^tBu)₂]Li·NH₂ ^tBu complex with a terminal tert-butylimido moiety. The synthesis and X-ray structural characterization are described.
