The effects of reverse cyclic loading rate on the mechanical behavior of reinforced SCC beams were investigated. The cyclic tests were carried out in two displacement amplitudes; one before the yielding limit and one after the yielding limit. Strength and stiffness parameters were found rate-independent for linear zone. The behavior of beam specimens for post-yielding limit differs in first cycle (wherein the major crack occurs) rather than next cycles.
