Vitae

g class="imgLazyJSB inlineImage" height="244" width="169" alt="" title="" src="/sd/grey_pxl.gif" data-inlimgeid="1-s2.0-S0040402014005213-fx3.jpg">g class="boldFont">Rajesh H. Vekariyag> was born in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) India in 1989. He obtained his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry in 2010 and his M.Sc. degree in Organic Chemistry in 2012 both from the Gujarat University, Ahmedabad (India). Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Hitesh D. Patel at the Chemistry Department of the Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. His research focuses on synthesis of organic intermediates via green chemistry and their utilization in synthesis of biologically active compounds. Mainly, he is working on highly important and basic industrial process such as nitration, bromination, and oxidation reactions.
