Membrane flux decreased significantly with increase in Lead concentration in bio-tank. OMBR able to treat relatively higher levels of Chromium compared to Lead wastewater. The presence of Lead inhibited biomass growth and activity more than Chromium in OMBR. LB-EPS increased with increase of heavy metals concentration due to bio-floc rupture. Accumulation of salts, nutrients, and heavy metals has negative influence on microorganisms
