μAPGD sustained between a flowing liquid cathode and a gaseous microjet was studied. μAPGD was operated in various gases (Ar, He, CO2) and in different discharge systems. Spectral interferences in μAPGD-OES were significantly reduced. Improved detectability and excellent repeatability (< 1%) were achieved.
