Realistic herbicide mixtures were used to determine short-term effects on seagrass. Effects on photosynthesis and photosynthetic pigments of Z. noltei were found. Environmental risk was assessed by comparing effect to field concentrations. No potential adverse effects of this particular mixture to Z. noltei was suggested. However chronic inhibition of photosynthesis may lead to effect at whole plant level.
