An improved Jensen wake model (2D_k Jensen wake model) is applied for wind turbine multi-wake predictions. The effectiveness and accuracy of the 2D_k Jensen model is assessed through simulating two wakes interaction. The performance of the 2D_k Jensen model is validated through predicting power production in large offshore wind farms. Predictions obtained with the 2D_k Jensen model exhibit well to excellent agreements with experimental and LES data.
