A cylindrical nanowire consists of spin-1 core and spin-3/2 surface shell layers with ferrimagnetic interface coupling.

Effects of anisotropy on the magnetic and thermodynamic properties of the system were examined by Monte Carlo simulations.

The nanowire can exhibit first- and second-order phase transitions, tricritical point and compensation temperatures.

The multiple hysteresis loops such as triple, duadruple and quintuple hysteresis loops behaviors have been found.
