Effective viscosity of crude oil-water mixture decreases with the increase of shear rate, water fraction, and temperature. A model was developed for predicting the effective viscosity of crude oil-water mixtures with high water fraction. The proposed model gives accurate prediction, with an average relative deviation of 7.4%.
